AkzoNobel Packaging Change | Cap Color Changes on F-Style Quarts and Gallons

AkzoNobel is pleased to inform you that we are returning all our F-Style caps to their original designations now that the supply chain has stabilized. The use of red, white, and blue color caps helps to simplify product identification and decrease the risk of mixing errors. We thank you for your patience during this transitional period.

Currently, the caps are used in the follow manner:

• Clearcoats: White Caps
• Hardeners: Black Caps
• Reducers and Ancillaries: White Caps
  

Over the next several weeks, changes to the colors of the caps will be made in a rolling fashion and is expected to continue for the next several months. Moving forward, the changes will affect the following product categories as indicated below:

AkzoNobel has recently introduced a new pour spout (item #2014757) specifically designed for Rieke caps on quart and gallon F-style cans. This spout is compatible with the red, white, and blue Rieke caps that will be used going forward.
